O AmonRa, First born of the Nine, Guardian of the Noble Winds, radiant in the sky as a jewel, hear me. I am your priest, Chief Lector Priest of your abode, High Priest of all the Neteru. I have brought you offerings of fresh bread, honey cakes, stuffed Egyptian dates, Gazelle meat, and the finest drink of royalty in your Two Lands. I have placed these offerings in your Temple Courtyard, that I may receive your blessings. I approach the Ark containing your bodily presence; it sleeps in its altar. I undo the bolts on the latch of your golden shrine, and pull open the golden doors to reveal you to the light. Your Ark shines with its own illumination. My attendant priests gather up the ropes and pull your Ark from its home on a sledge. Then we bring you from the Sanctum and into the Courtyard, that you may enjoy your offerings in peace and tranquility. The Courtyard is open, light cascading into it; the sacred pool is filled with lotus and papyrus plants. Your carved columns bespeak of your victories over the Enemy, and treasures of tribute are shown entering your domain. My attendant priests light Lotus incense and chant your praises, O AmonRa, King of the Neteru. Your presence is felt high above the Courtyard, and in every city. No clouds mar your presence today, O Lord of Light. As you dine on your offerings, consider the status of those without such refinement; we pray for the poor & disabled, in your divine name, O AmonRa. May your wealth be shared among all your adorers, and may we all prosper from your intervention. For instance, our friend who has melanoma, who adores you yet received too much of your presence; may she be healed of her Cancer, may it dry up and disintegrate. May she receive health care; may her life be extended, O AmonRa, Lord of Life. I also ask that our country, and all our allies, have a good economy. May your adorers prosper, may their stocks increase in value, may our companies prosper, may you bless your adorers with success and goodwill. As your light wanes in the evening sky, it is time to return you to your abode. My priests pull your Ark back into its home. I set the bolts on your shrine and sweep our footprints from the sandstone floor of your Temple. My priests clean the Temple and collect the unused offerings to give to the priesthood and to your adorers. Then we lock the entrance to your Temple and go our separate ways until tomorrow. So says Haroeris M7 (Horus Michael I), Chief Lector Priest, Temple of AmonRa.
