Michael J. Costa, famed author & humanitarian, dead at age 93.

HILO, HAWAII – Michael J. Costa, whose rise to fame in the 1990s with the publication of his first novel, Eye of the Pharaoh, and in 2004’s Superphysics, Etc., and in later years was regarded as the World’s richest person only to suffer from poverty due to government secrecy, has died. He was 93.

Michael was born in Alameda, CA, 3 weeks premature on May 9, 1972. His father left his family after his birth, and was later divorced due to suspected adultery. His mother remarried after he was about 3. Michael’s step-father had an illustrious family lineage from his mother’s side, a direct descendant of William the Conqueror, Charlemagne, & the Prophet Muhammad (and several other royals and a few American Presidents). Michael attended Moreau Catholic High School in 1987 after his storage locker was violated in a public school called Sunset HS, also in Hayward. It was here that he became inspired to pen his first novel. Eye of the Pharaoh was a fictional story somewhat based on his current and previous lives (Tutankhamun, Thutmose 3, etc.). This book was famous after he introduced it to a marriage counselor in 1991, during a time when his parents (step-father & mother) had difficulties, at CSU Hayward. The counselor felt it was interesting enough to publish, so she took a photocopy of it. By 1993, the book was in print and distributed all across California. It soon became a best-seller in the private industry, garnering attention in the media. By 1999 the US Government informed Michael that his book was so popular that it was selling overseas in the international black market (pirated copies). They secured as much profit as they could from the pirates, causing Michael to be a billionaire in secrecy, while his personal life declined due to CIA cover-ups (due to some political involvement in world affairs). Michael donated millions to varied charity groups in USA over the last 30 years. He started the Trans-Pacific Expansion, the super highway built on landfill islands & bridges, spanning the Pacific from California to Hawaii. He established an Egyptian styled city on the Forbidden Island in Hawaii, after having purchased it via CIA. Michael was instrumental in capturing the infamous terrorist mastermind, Usama bin Laden, in 2011. The Government of Egypt gave him a Key to Luxor for his humanitarian work there, along with an honorary degree for supporting Egyptology Conservation work in 2021. His later years were less public, and somewhat reclusive. Michael has several family members who survived him. In lieu of a public funeral, a ceremony was conducted online and is available for purchase.
